Studying languages at Capital School is rewarding, challenging and fun. All students learn French and Arabic from FS1 while also taking standard classes in English. As one of the few schools in Dubai to offer this, our students can achieve a high level of linguistic ability while absorbing the flavour of different cultures and traditions.

We believe language is an important skill for children to learn from a young age in this increasingly diverse and global community, and we are pleased to be able to develop students’ proficiency in speaking, listening, reading and writing in multiple languages. Our student body is diverse, and their linguistic education reflects that.

Students experience a blend of classroom approaches, with our youngest learners benefiting from songs and games while our older students enjoy group and classroom discussion, game-based learning, websites, interactive tasks using IT, video conferencing and audio recordings.
